Beautiful beach, romantic accomodation at… Khao Lak, Phang Nga



sunAt the present time, Phan Nga’s attracting places are not only Phang Nga Bay, Surin Islands and Similan Islands but it is well known worldwide for the name “Khao Lak”. Each year, foreign and Thai tourists who like Phuket’s atmosphere but prefer more peaceful area usually visit Khao Lak Beach and spend the nights here. It is not far from Phuket.

Khuk Khak Beach: the south of Khuk Khak Beach is adjacent to Bang Niang Beach at the north and will look very wide at low tide. You can walk across the small canal between the two beaches. The area is quiet and shaded by long line of pine trees.

From Phetchakasem road before reaching by-pass road to Khao Lak Beach offers the long beach scenery.

icecreamIn the past, going to Phang Nga meant visiting the Phang Nga Bay by boat to see KhaoTapu and Koh Pan Yee. Later, it included a visit to the Similans and Surins, two archipelagos with Thailand’s most beautiful shallow and deep underwater world. Today, to visit Phang Nga also means no need to take a boat trip to the sea, as it is Khao Lak, the most beautiful beach of  Phang Nga, so beautiful that tourists from overseas put it among the top destinations visit to Thailand.

The Road Phetchakasem lead to Khao Lak. The interesting point is the way down the hill to the beach where there is a viewpoint overlooking Khao Lak in a high angle. In reality,Khao Lak   includes Nang Thong Beach, Bang Niang Beach, Khuk Khak Beach and Laem Pakarang, which can be seen from this point of view, as the same beach.

Attractions: Though differently calls Nang Thong, Khuk Khak and Bang Niang is the same beach with clean sand, shaded by pine trees. Some parts are on the beachfront of forests alternating with the morning glory of the sea line beach stretches for miles plantations.he beach line stretches for tens kilometers partitioned by canals, which run toward the sea, or rocks and capes. Each is easily reached on foot. The beach is named differently by the names of the villages around that area.

Having a good accomodations and hospitality spread around, Khao Lak today still retains its original character, especially for the peace and beautiful scenery good for relaxation.

Bang Sak beach with fine  and clean sand continuous curves, shaded by pine trees, good for a swim.

Laem Pakarang sticks out into the sea with its end extending for hundreds of miles of coral is the beach beautiful, shaded by pine trees, beautiful views and quiet.

Khuk Khak Beach has a nice wide of clean, soft sand beach curve along a good to swim and walk for a good view, with a small canal in the south to cross on foot.

Bang Niang Beach is white  and clean sand as well, but the curves in and out good for a swim and a walk to admire the scenery in tranquil surroundings.

Nang Thong Beach stretches long curving in and out, like a small bay. To south is a steep hill with good views regarded as the center of Khao Lak.

Khao Lak Beach is comprised of a vast and beautiful sandy beach good for swimming. The beach long curves north toward the hill, with views over Phang Nga Navy Base. To the south is a quiet, shaded by pine trees, with not so long beach, offering a private environment.

In addition to beautiful beaches, today a visit to Khao Lak includes activities to enjoy in the form of package tours with trekking in the jungle, elephant riding, rafting and tour the island the ideal beach for a happy holiday to all.

Facilities: Along the beach line at Khao Lak Beach, good accommodations are a lot  for your choice, as it is a new show is interesting to note that housing is designed in modern style. Tour counters and shops are available on Nang Thong Beach.
